    What is a timeshare exit?

    The term “timeshare exit” is used to describe a process of terminating an unwanted timeshare contract usually due to developer misconduct, fraud or misrepresentations. A successful timeshare exit can be an involved and lengthy process. Fortunately, through our years of experience and knowledge of the legal system, we have devised a proven exit strategy. Exit Scholar assists timeshare exit companies with document preparation for their customers looking to resolve their timeshare contracts. We provide an exit solution when all other possible resolution options have been exhausted by the timeshare owner. We assist you in working directly with your timeshare developer to work towards an amicable exit resolution.

    How it Works

    As an Exit Scholar client, you will have the opportunity to speak with a Registrant Document Preparer (Doc Prep) who will conduct a review to determine which documents you want prepared. In this meeting, you will be asked questions that help us get an idea of what we can do to help you. We will also assist you in preparing your Letter of Explanation, which contains your instructions to the Exit Scholar.

     

    Once the Exit Scholar has your instructions, it will typically only take them 30 days to prepare the first draft of your documents. Once you approve the draft, you sign the document in person or via digital signature and provide it to the Exit Scholar. They will then mail or file the document per your instructions. Each time you receive a response from the timeshare developer, it will be up to you to provide your client services representative with the appropriate information so that they can communicate it to the Exit Scholar who can then prepare the additional documents per your instructions.
